Job summary

Matthew Algie is seeking a Coffee Sales Manager to join the Field Sales Team covering the Newcastle, Leeds & North East area from the Manchester region. You will identify new opportunities, grow the existing customer base, and deliver first-class service and training to meet sales targets and business goals.

You will travel within the designated territory, manage accounts, and promote the Matthew Algie range and Espresso Warehouse products that best fit customer needs.

Qualifications

• Essential: proven track record of meeting sales targets across a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Must hold a full and valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage time to achieve 25 customer visits per week and 5 prospect visits per week as a minimum.
• Administer customer accounts and sales records.
• Follow a structured sales process including equipment and coffee audits and reviewing sales history.
• Manage field interactions: business development, coffee quality, training, machine movements, and sales support.
• Identify opportunities to grow value using gap analysis reports.
• Develop a prospect plan detailing current opportunities in the area.
• Utilise marketing materials to support sales.
• Maintain training records for all accounts.
• Respond to customer issues within 24 hours.
