Job summary

Kellanova is hiring a Centre of Excellence Technician on a 12‑month fixed-term contract at our Haydock Dragon development hub. You will support day-to-day CoE activities and help deliver high-level support to food and packaging designers and cross-functional projects.

You will join the R&D team, coordinating with global partners and internal teams to ensure quality controls, systems ownership, and continuous improvement across CoE operations.

Qualifications

• Strong teamwork and communication skills to work within a Centre of Excellence and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene principles and material management in a manufacturing environment.
• Self-motivated with the initiative to manage tasks independently and deliver on project timelines.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools including email, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• CoE Operations: maintain, support, and develop the day-to-day running of the CoE facility.
• Project Collaboration: assist Food and Packaging Designers and partners to support project delivery.
• Quality Management: oversee and improve raw material and finished food controls.
• Systems Ownership: develop key control and development systems including safety, training, and 3D printing.
• Global Logistics: coordinate with courier partners to ensure global shipping meets expectations.
• Project Readiness: prepare ingredients and equipment to support project activity.
• Change Support: assist with the move to Haydock and contribute ideas on new ways of working.
