Job summary

Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd seeks an Engineering Technician for a 12-month PAYE contract at our R&D test facility in Hinckley. The role focuses on preparing and operating test equipment, supporting engineers and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 engineering qualification and hands-on experience in workshops or test environments, with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in engineering workshop, manufacturing, test facility or similar.
• Good practical engineering skills and hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work safely with engineering equipment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and setting up engineering test equipment and facilities.
• Supporting Engineers and Technicians with the execution of engineering tests.
• Preparing and installing test instrumentation and associated equipment.
• Carrying out checks on test equipment and facilities prior to testing.
• Undertaking facility and test equipment maintenance before and after testing.
• Supporting the safe and efficient operation of engineering test facilities.
• Using computer-based data collection and test systems.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and equipment condition.
• Following appropriate engineering, safety and quality procedures when working with high-value equipment.
