Job summary

Greencore is seeking a Product Developer in Kiveton on a 15-month Fixed-Term Contract to drive new product development from concept through launch. You will collaborate across five sites, develop recipes with chefs, input into the system and benchmark against market trends.

The role requires delivering commercially viable products with strong cost controls and robust documentation, with travel across sites and a UK driving license. This is a key part of the Meals & Quiche team.

Qualifications

• Experience in food product development.
• Strong cost analysis skills.
• End-to-end product development from concept to launch.
• Proven documentation quality in product projects.
• Confident in presenting to all levels and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and modify existing recipes to meet briefs, cost and nutrition targets.
• Benchmark recipes against market to gain competitive advantage.
• Input recipes into the management system and verify accuracy for cost, weight and nutrition.
• Assess new ingredients from technical and operational perspectives.
• Lead cross-site collaboration across five manufacturing sites.
• Present benchmarking and new products to internal and customer teams.
• Support scale-up production trials to ensure process quality.
• Provide leadership to keep the team safe, engaged and delivering to potential.
