Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a principal civil contractor on a coastal restoration project along the South Coast. The role centers on setting out, quality control, temporary works oversight, and coordinating subcontractors on a Grade II*-listed infrastructure asset.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years on-site, a Civil Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/degree), CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and proficiency with total stations, GPS, and modern survey software.

Qualifications

• Essential: HNC/HND or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Setting out civil works, foundations, steel/cast iron frames, concrete elements.
• Supervising sub-contractors for repair and new construction.
• Maintaining ITPs and Quality Control documentation.
• Assisting Site/Project Manager with site diaries and progress reports.
