Job summary

DDH Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager for a well-regarded independent coastal hotel along the Suffolk coast. You will own the restaurant, bar and events service, leading a front of house team to deliver consistent, attentive guest care in a relaxed seaside setting.

You will report to senior management and oversee all F&B service across meals, the bar and functions, ensuring smooth operations, strong team leadership, and cost-conscious management in a busy hotel

Qualifications

• Experience in food & beverage or front of house management in hotels or quality restaurants.
• Ability to lead a front of house team and sustain guest experience.
• Strong presentation and communication with guests under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead front of house and bar team across restaurant, bar and events.
• Run all food and beverage service from breakfast to dinner and functions.
• Manage rotas and staffing to meet business needs.
• Maintain presentation, cleanliness and guest care to a high standard.
• Handle guest enquiries, bookings and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with kitchen to ensure seamless service.
• Manage stock, ordering, cellar, waste and cost controls.
• Adhere to licensing, health and safety and food hygiene rules in full.
