Qualifications

• Chartered Civil Engineer with strong coastal/maritime experience and FCERM knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver coastal defences, harbour works and flood schemes.
• Proven track record in technical, engineering and project delivery.
• Experience working with Environment Agency, local authorities or infrastructure owners.
• Sound understanding of technical, commercial and stakeholder challenges in coastal infrastructure.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships and lead meetings with high-quality outputs.
• Commercially astute with experience in financial control, milestones and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead inter-discipline and multi-office teams across coastal, maritime and FCERM projects.
• Provide technical leadership, governance and mentoring to the team.
• Oversee resources, programme performance, design integration and interfaces.
• Utilise collaborative digital delivery and BIM approaches where appropriate.
• Champion safety integration across design and engineering activities.
• Support strategic pursuits to drive sustainable growth and long-term success.
• Act as trusted advisor building client relationships at all levels.
