Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced coastal, maritime, and flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM) leader to drive projects from concept through construction and handover. You’ll guide multi-disciplinary teams and interface with clients such as regulatory bodies and authorities.

You will champion safety, employ digital delivery and BIM, and shape the capability footprint while delivering robust technical solutions across coastal environments.

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil Engineer (or equivalent professional qualification) is required.
• Demonstrable experience delivering coastal, maritime or FCERM infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in technical, engineering and project delivery.
• Experience working with Agencies, local authorities, contractors or infrastructure owners.
• Strong understanding of technical, commercial and stakeholder challenges in coastal/flood risk infra.
• Ability to develop trusted client relationships and lead meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead inter-discipline and multi-office teams in coastal, maritime and FCERM projects.
• Provide technical leadership and governance while mentoring team members.
• Oversee resources, programme performance, design integration and risk management.
• Utilise collaborative digital delivery and BIM approaches where appropriate.
• Champion safety integration in all design and engineering activities.
