Job summary

You will mentor teams, manage resources and budgets, and develop strategic client relationships with agencies, authorities and infrastructure owners to drive sustainable growth for Jacobs.

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil Engineer with professional qualification.
• Demonstrable experience delivering coastal, maritime or FCERM infrastructure projects.
• Proven technical, engineering and project delivery track record.
• Experience working with Environment Agency, local authorities, contractors or infrastructure owners.
• Understanding of technical, commercial and stakeholder challenges in coastal/flood risk infrastructure.
• Ability to develop trusted client relationships and lead meetings with high-quality outputs.
• Commercially astute with experience in financial control, milestones, risk and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead inter-discipline and multi-office teams in coastal, maritime and FCERM projects.
• Provide technical leadership, governance, mentoring and career development.
• Oversee resources, programme performance, design integration, interfaces and risk management.
• Utilise digital delivery and BIM where appropriate.
• Champion safety integration into design and engineering activities.
• Support strategic positioning of pursuits and opportunities for sustainable growth.
• Build trusted client relationships and act as a subject matter expert with stakeholders.

Education

Chartered Civil Engineer (or equivalent)
