Job summary

Malabar Resources is seeking a Coal Chain Planning & Process Superintendent to join our team. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will plan, optimise and manage the coal processing and coal chain, balancing production, CHPP capacity, product quality and inventories to meet customer commitments.

You will work closely with Logistics, Mining, Technical Services, Commercial and Maintenance teams to ensure effective stock control and priority execution, driving data-informed improvements and

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or equivalent operational experience
• Safety leadership in mining
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Leadership and coaching capabilities
• Current NSW Class C Driver Licence
• Postgraduate qualifications advantageous

Responsibilities

• Plan, optimise and manage the site's coal processing and coal chain
• Develop integrated processing and logistics plans to balance mining production, CHPP capacity, product quality, stockpiles and customer commitments
• Collaborate with Logistics, Mining, Technical Services, Commercial and Maintenance teams
• Ensure coal inventories are effectively managed and meeting demand
• Provide technical leadership and drive continuous improvement across the coal chain
