Job summary

Morgan Motor Company is seeking a Materials Manager at our Malvern site to lead all aspects of materials management, optimise stock, and balance short-term delivery with long-term objectives. The role focuses on reducing working capital, supplier performance, and efficient warehousing and logistics.

You will drive forecasting, demand planning, and collaborate across engineering, procurement and production to support seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in materials, logistics or supply chain in automotive/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and working capital reduction.
• Experience in supplier performance improvement and OTIF delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement stock optimisation strategies to ensure production continuity.
• Forecasting and demand planning to align material availability with schedules.
• Drive working capital reduction by minimising excess stock and improving forecast accuracy.
• Lead warehousing, logistics inbound and outbound, and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Lead the materials team and collaborate with production, procurement and quality.
