Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Night Shift Coachbuilder to join the UK’s leading manufacturer of specialist temperature-controlled and bespoke commercial vehicles at their Dunfermline facility.

The role is a full-time permanent position, Sunday to Thursday, 8pm to 6:30am, with a rate of £13.36–£15.88 per hour plus a £3.08 shift allowance. Overtime and bonuses are available, with 33 days holiday per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly or coachbuilding
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
• A team-focused approach with good problem-solving skills
• Basic IT skills for job tracking

Responsibilities

• Assembling mechanical components to engineering specifications using hand and power tools
• Performing quality checks throughout the assembly process and resolving build issues Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
• Collaborating with other departments to improve build flow
• Maintaining accurate build records and a clean, safe work environment

As a Coachbuilder, your duties will include:
