Job summary

TXM Recruit is recruiting for a Coachbuilder based in Northern Ireland. You will manufacture parts for assembly on the production line, drilling, cutting, riveting, bolting and screwing using hand tools and basic cutting machinery.

Working Monday to Thursday, 7am-5pm with overtime on Fridays. The role pays £30.26 per hour via umbrella, with immediate starts available and a focus on high-quality workmanship to meet specifications on time.

Job description

We have exciting new opportunities working as a Coachbuilder for one of our key transportation clients based in Northern Ireland As a Coachbuilder, you will work Monday to Thursday 7am - 5pm, 38 hours a weekday shift with overtime available on Fridays. All hours will be at a rate of £30.26 via an umbrella company, immediate starts available. As a Coachbuilder you will be responsible for the manufacture of parts for assembly on the production and assembly line. The role will involve drilling, cutting, riveting, bolting and screwing parts using hand tools and basic cutting machinery. You will be responsible for building the vehicle to specification, to a high quality within the agreed timeframe.

Responsibilities of a Coachbuilder:

• Fabrication of complex parts and assemblies to support the manufacturing process. Reading and working from complex part and assembly drawings and schematics and following verbal instructions. Moving between several distinct operations whilst maintaining high quality workmanship and overall efficiency.
• Fitting and assembly of metal, wood, and laminate components to vehicles during the assembly process in accordance with the customer and build specifications.
• Safe operation of plant, equipment and/or hand tools associated with the manufacture, fitting or assembly of components.
• Compliance with the company’s Health and Safety procedures.
• Undertaking training or retraining associated with the post or the introduction of new working practices and training other colleagues.

Requirements for Coachbuilder:

• Time Served in relevant discipline e.g. Fitter, Mechanic, plumber (written confirmation required).
• 4 Years chassis experience/Relevant experience.
• Relevant experience using a variety of hand, power, and air tools.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
