Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is recruiting a skilled Coach Builder for a client based in South Worcestershire. You will hand-build bespoke sports cars using traditional aluminium coachbuilding and body panel fabrication techniques, contributing to low-volume, high-end automotive projects.

The role offers a 40-hour week with an early finish every Friday, 30 days of holiday including Bank Holidays, and free on-site parking in a temperature-controlled workshop, along with opportunities to work on

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Coach Builder.
• Strong traditional aluminium coachbuilding skills.
• Proficiency with panel fabrication, metal finishing, and panel alignment.
• Experience in classic vehicle restoration or low-volume vehicle manufacture is advantageous.
• A genuine passion for traditional automotive craftsmanship.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Hand-building bespoke sports cars to exacting standards.
• Traditional aluminium coachbuilding and body panel fabrication.
• Using the English Wheel for hand-forming and shaping aluminium panels.
• Panel fabrication, metal finishing, and preparation.
• Fitting and aligning body panels with high precision.
• Contributing to low-volume vehicle manufacturing and bespoke automotive projects.
• Producing high-quality craftsmanship with attention to detail.
