Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Bridgwater is seeking a hands-on CNC Machinist to manage turning equipment from setup through to part production. You will read engineering drawings, select tools, and ensure accurate dimensions against tolerances.

Primarily site-based, the role operates on a rotating shift pattern (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00) with emphasis on strict health & safety practices, housekeeping, and timely delivery of quality components.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC turning experience in a production setting.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with tool setting and tolerance checks.
• Commitment to health & safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts from manufacturing orders and read/interpret drawings.
• Set up tools and select correct tooling for each job.
• Check seal dimensions with measuring equipment and maintain tolerances.
• Operate multiple CNC machines and run first-off parts.
• Enter job details for traceability and reinstate the work area.
