Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator/Setter to join a busy manufacturing team in Bridgwater. The role covers operating CNC lathes across multiple machines, changing programs and tools, and performing basic setting and first-off checks.

You will read drawings, monitor quality, and work across two machines with training for more complex tasks. We value hands-on CNC turning experience and the ability to operate independently, with setting and offsets understanding.

We're looking for a CNC Lathe Operator / Setter to join a busy manufacturing team in Bridgwater.

This is a great opportunity for someone with genuine CNC turning experience who can operate machines confidently and carry out basic setting work.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on CNC turning experience - essential
• Able to operate CNC machinery independently
• Some setting experience / understanding of offsets and tooling
• Fanuc experience preferred, but other controls such as Mazak or Heidenhain considered
• Comfortable working across multiple machines
• Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn
• Strong team player with a desire to progress
