Job summary

Role: CNC Turner / Machinist in Crawley, UK. The successful candidate will set and operate CNC turning centres, producing precision components from drawings and maintaining tight tolerances. You may also program or edit programs where capable.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC Setter/Operator with turning experience.
• Fanuc controls experience highly desirable.
• Programming or program-editing experience beneficial.
• Able to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Experience with multi-axis, twin-spindle, or live-tooling advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning centres producing precision components from drawings.
• Manage tooling and offsets; perform first-off checks.
• Make adjustments during production to maintain quality.
• Take ownership of jobs from start to finish and keep production moving.
• Where capable, program or edit CNC programs.
