Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Bridgwater is seeking a hands-on CNC Machinist to manage turning equipment from setup through to part production. You will read engineering drawings, select tools, and ensure accurate dimensions against tolerances.
Primarily site-based, the role operates on a rotating shift pattern (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00) with emphasis on strict health & safety practices, housekeeping, and timely delivery of quality components.

You’ll play a key role in managing our CNC turning equipment, taking it from setup right through to operation. You’ll ensure all safety systems, including emergency stops, are routinely checked and working effectively. You’ll bring hands‑on experience in CNC turning, along with a solid background in engineering and production. You’re confident reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings and take pride in producing high-quality components from that information.
Ideally, you’ll have experience working with Fanuc controls or Okuma machines, although this isn’t essential if you’re keen to learn. You’ll enjoy the variety of working across multiple CNC machines and feel comfortable adapting to different products and production areas as required.
