Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator/Setter to join a busy manufacturing team in Bridgwater. The role covers operating CNC lathes across multiple machines, changing programs and tools, and performing basic setting and first-off checks.

You will read drawings, monitor quality, and work across two machines with training for more complex tasks. We value hands-on CNC turning experience and the ability to operate independently, with setting and offsets understanding.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC turning experience essential.
• Ability to operate CNC lathes across multiple machines.
• Experience with setting, offsets and tooling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes across multiple machines.
• Change programs, tools and adjust offsets.
• Carry out basic setting and first-off checks.
• Work across two machines simultaneously.
• Read technical drawings and check dimensions.
• Maintain quality and production standards.
• Progress onto more complex CNC work with training.
