Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in Leicester is seeking an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator to set and run turning machines from engineering drawings in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

You will fault find, deburr, inspect with gauges, and ensure parts meet exact specs. Familiarity with DMG/Mori/CMZ/Doosan machines and Fanuc or Siemens controls is preferred; aerospace experience is a plus, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Experience in a busy manufacturing environment.
Experience setting CNC turning machines preferably with DMG/Mori/CMZ/Doosan and Fanuc or Siemens controls.
Aerospace experience would be advantageous.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Set, fault find & operate turning machines.
In-process deburring and self inspection.
Use gauges and measuring equipment to ensure parts meet specifications.

Location: Leicester

Hourly Rate: £18.13 per hour

Shift: 2:30PM - 12:30PM (Mon - Tues) 2:30PM - 12:15PM (Wed - Thurs)
