Job summary

Contek Recruitment Solutions LTD. is seeking an experienced CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) for their Bredbury, Stockport facility. The role focuses on setting and operating CNC lathes on a day shift; programming is not required.

You will read engineering drawings, perform in-process inspections, and maintain quality standards while contributing to continuous improvement in a modern machining environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Turner (Setter/Operator).
• Experience with Fanuc controls (editing).
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient with inspection tools such as micrometers and verniers.

Salary: £41,000 per year

Hours: Days - Monday to Friday

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) to join their machining team at their Bredbury, Stockport facility. This is a day-shift position working primarily on CNC lathes, focusing on setting and operating to produce high-quality machined components. Programming is not required for this role.
