Job summary

Interaction Technical is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator for a Northamptonshire-based precision machining team. You will program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled lathes to produce high- quality components to tight tolerances, reading engineering drawings and selecting appropriate tooling.

This permanent, full-time role offers a 38-hour week with overtime available, early finishes on Fridays, and a benefits package including 33 days leave, a company pension, on-site

Qualifications

• Time-served CNC Turner with programming, setting and operating experience.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience machining a range of materials including exotic alloys.
• Proficient with inspection and measuring equipment.
• High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC turning machines.
• Produce precision components to customer specifications.
• Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings.
• Machine a variety of materials including Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy.
• Inspect and verify components to tight tolerances.
• Conduct in-process and final quality checks.
• Maintain safe working practices and housekeeping standards.
• Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (38-hour week) - £40,000-£45,000 OTE
Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00-14:30 or 07:00-15:30, Friday 06:00-12:00
