Job summary

Syntech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a precision engineering manufacturer. You will program, set and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc and ISO controls, producing components to tight tolerances and reading complex drawings.

You will work with exotic materials such as Inconel, Titanium and Hastelloy, selecting tooling and speeds, while maintaining quality and safety in a modern precision environment.

Qualifications

• Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc and ISO controls.
• Producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
• Machining exotic materials such as Inconel, Titanium and Hastelloy.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Selecting tooling, speeds, feeds and machining strategies.
• Carrying out in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment.
• Maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Syntech Recruitment are supporting a well-established precision engineering manufacturer who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their growing machine shop team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a programmer, setter and operator who enjoys working to tight tolerances and machining challenging materials including Inconel, Titanium, Hastelloy and Duplex alloys.

What We're Looking For

• CNC programming, setting and operating experience


• Experience machining exotic materials or difficult alloys


• Ability to work to tight tolerances


• Strong engineering drawing interpretation skills


• Understanding of GD&T


• Experience using inspection equipment


• Strong attention to detail and quality standards


• Apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification would be advantageous
