Job summary

Workforce Staffing are recruiting for a CNC Turner Programmer for a well-established Poole based manufacturer. The role focuses on setting and operating Doosan Lynx and Puma CNC machines, reading drawings and ensuring parts meet ISO9001 standards.

Experience with Fanuc controls is required; Mazak is a plus. Hours are 8am-5pm Mon-Thu and 8am-2pm Fri, with a pay range of £38,000 to £41,000 and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Experience setting & operating CNC machines is essential.
• Programming would be an advantage.
• Able to use Fanuc controls (offsets, tool setting, program editing).
• At least 2 years CNC experience.

Responsibilities

• Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
• Setting and operating Doosan Lynx and Puma CNC machines.
• Using Fanuc operating systems.
• Following work instruction sheets and updating as needed.
• Inspecting own work before first-off inspection.
• Maintaining 5S and housekeeping.
• Adhering to health and safety standards.

Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer

Job Type: Days based, Perm

Location: Poole

Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-2pm Fri

Pay: £38,000 - £41,000

Our client is a well-established family run business that have been operating over 50 years. Due to continued success and a ever-growing order book, they’re looking for a CNC Turner Programmer.

Your main responsibilities will involve;

• Reading & understanding engineering drawings.

• (programming if able) Setting & Operating a range of Doosan Lynx & Puma CNC Machines.

• Using Fanuc Operating Systems.

• Following work instruction sheets to aid setting.

• Amend work instruction sheets with updated/additional information.

• Changing of Tips/Cutters.

• Experience of Twin Turrets / Spindles / XY an advantage

• Producing parts to ISO9001 Standard.

• Editing of Programs to make slight adjustments (Speeds/Feeds).

• Tolerance Control to maintain drawing specifications.

• Inspecting own work before submitting in for first off inspection.

• 5S and Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping.

• Adhering to Health & Safety.

Your skills and qualifications as a skilled CNC Turner;

• Experience of Setting & Operating of CNC Machines is essential. Programming would be an advantage

• Able to use Fanuc Operating System (Offset Alterations/Tool Setting/Program Editing).

• Mazak Experience is also advantageous (Not Required)

• At least 2 years CNC Experience
