Job summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering business in Dudley. You will program, set and operate modern CNC turning machinery while maintaining high-quality standards and efficiency.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years' experience, CAD/CAM programming skills, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Competitive salary and benefits are included in a permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience programming Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes.
• CAD/CAM programming experience is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate a range of CNC turning machines, including new Doosan Puma lathes.
• Create and edit programs using Fanuc controls.
• Use CAD/CAM software to produce machining programs.
• Carry out self-inspection using micrometers, verniers and depth micrometers.
• Ensure high-quality components with precise tolerances.

Title: CNC Turner Programmer

Location: Dudley

Salary: Up to£36,500 per annum

Shift: Days (Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:15pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:00pm)

Benefits: Overtime Availability (1.33x - 1.5x), Company Pension Scheme (5% employee 4% company), Share Save Scheme, Early Finish on Fridays, 28 days including Bank Holidays rising 1 day per year service to a max of 33

CNC Turner Programmer Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate a range of CNC turning machines, including new Doosan Puma lathes
• Create and edit programs using Fanuc controls
• Use CAD/CAM software to produce machining programs
• Carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and depth micrometers
• Minimum of 2 years' experience programming Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes
• Proven experience setting and operating CNC turning machines
• CAD/CAM programming experience is essential
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Competent using precision measuring equipment for self-inspection
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality components
