Job summary

Gi Group UK in Leicester is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our engineering team. The role covers programming, setting and operating Fanuc controlled turning machines to produce high quality components for a range of industries.

You will be responsible for turning, setting and programming on Fanuc controls, reading drawings and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances. The role offers overtime with a competitive salary and strong progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Turner Programmer/Setter with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience machining a range of metals (steel, aluminium, cast iron).
• Reliable, accurate and quality focused.

CNC Turner - Programmer / Setter / Operator

Salary: £35,000-£36,000 + overtime Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday-Friday)

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join our growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident in programming, setting and operating Fanuc controlled turning machines, producing high quality components for a wide range of industries.

What You'll Be Doing

• CNC turning, programming and setting using Fanuc controls
• Producing bearing housings, custom one off parts and prototype components
• Working with steel, aluminium, cast iron, and other materials
• Supporting general workshop tasks when required
• Ensuring all work meets quality and accuracy standards

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience as a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter
• Confident programming and setting Fanuc controlled machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience machining a variety of metals
• Reliable, accurate and quality focused

Pay & Overtime

• Pay & Overtime£35,000-£36,000 basic salary
• Time & a half Monday-Saturday after 40 hours
• Double pay on Sundays
