Job summary

Gi Group UK in Thurmaston is seeking a CNC Turner - Programmer / Setter / Operator to join our engineering team. You will program, set and operate Fanuc turning machines to produce high-quality components for multiple industries.

The role requires strong CNC turning experience, reading drawings and the ability to machine various metals. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm with overtime and a pension/bonus benefits package.

• Strong CNC turning experience with programming and setting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience machining a variety of metals.

Responsibilities

• CNC turning, programming and setting using Fanuc controls.
• Producing bearing housings, custom parts and prototypes.

• Supporting general workshop tasks as needed.

Salary: £35,000-£36,000 + overtime Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday-Friday)

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join our growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident in programming, setting and operating Fanuc controlled turning machines, producing high quality components for a wide range of industries.

What You'll Be Doing

• CNC turning, programming and setting using Fanuc controls
• Producing bearing housings, custom one off parts and prototype components
• Working with steel, aluminium, cast iron, and other materials
• Supporting general workshop tasks when required
• Ensuring all work meets quality and accuracy standards

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience as a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter
• Confident programming and setting Fanuc controlled machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience machining a variety of metals
• Reliable, accurate and quality focusedPay & Overtime£35,000-£36,000 basic salary

Pay & Overtime

• £35,000-£36,000 basic salary
• Time & a half Monday-Saturday after 40 hours
• Double pay on Sundays
