Waterlooville precision engineering business is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to set and program FANUC-controlled lathes, including Citizen, Miyano and DMG Mori machines, to produce precision components from engineering drawings.

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities and an early finish every Friday, plus 22 days' holiday. This role emphasizes quality, efficiency and on-time production in a supportive environment.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a CNC Turner.
• Strong FANUC setting and programming skills.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Set and program FANUC-controlled lathes, including Citizen, Miyano and DMG Mori machines.
• Produce precision components from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Carry out quality checks using precision measuring equipment and gauges.
• Complete inspection records and interpret tooling sheets.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor machine performance and report maintenance requirements.
• Maintain high standards of quality, efficiency and safety.
• Keep the machining area clean, organized and compliant with company standards.

• Set and program FANUC-controlled lathes, including Citizen, Miyano and DMG Mori machines.
• Produce precision components from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Carry out quality checks using precision measuring equipment and gauges.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner, ideally with 5+ years' experience.

• Good understanding of machining principles and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is highly desirable.
