Job summary

Metalis is seeking a skilled CNC Turner for their Rotherham site, rotating between Days and Afternoons. You will set, operate and program CNC lathes to produce high-precision components and read engineering drawings.

The role is a 12-week temp-to-perm contract with a strong emphasis on quality, process improvement and lean manufacturing practices. Micrometers and verniers will be used daily to ensure tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Previous Setting & Operating & Programming experience - Essential
• Experience working within high pressure, precision engineering environments
• Proficient using micrometers and verniers
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and specifications
• A methodical worker who takes pride in their work, is keen to progress and learn
