Job summary

A well-established manufacturer in Rotherham is seeking a skilled CNC Turner to set, operate, and program CNC Lathes. The role requires Solidcam experience and familiarity with Haas, Doosan, and Matsuura machines. Ideal candidates will have aerospace or medical experience. The position offers a salary of £16.00 - £19.00 per hour, with regular overtime opportunities and a Monday to Friday shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Able to set, operate and program CNC Lathes.
• Experience in aerospace or medical fields preferred.
• Solidcam programming experience required.

Responsibilities

• Set, operate, and program CNC Lathes.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and minor repairs.
• Inspect own work using appropriate tools.

Job Role: CNC Turner

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £16.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Metalis are currently working with a well-established manufacturer who are looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Set, operate and program CNC Lathes
• Offline program using Solidcam
• Read and work from engineering drawings
• Work to tight tolerances
• Use inspection and measuring equipment to inspect own work
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment and perform minor repairs as needed
• Report any faults to the Production Manager

Job Requirements:

• Able to set, operate and program CNC Lathes
• Experience with Haas, Doosan and Matsuura (preferred)
• Solidcam experience
• Aerospace/Medical experience (preferred)

Salary & Shift:

£16.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Monday to Thursday, 6am - 3pm & Friday, 6am - 12pm

Regular overtime available - 1.33x on weekdays & 1.5x on Saturdays
