Job summary

ion-tec Ltd in Sheffield is recruiting an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator to join a growing precision engineering team. You will set and operate CNC turning centres to produce aerospace components, ensuring tight tolerances and high quality while developing your skills with ongoing training and support from an experienced engineering group.

  • Engineering apprenticeship or time-served machining experience.
  • Experience setting and operating CNC turning machines.

CNC Turner Setter Operator

Sheffield

Salary: 39,672 inc shift premium + excellent benefits

If you're an experienced CNC Turner who enjoys precision engineering and takes pride in producing high-quality work, this could be an excellent opportunity to take your career further.

You'll join a growing manufacturer that invests in its people as much as its technology. Working with modern CNC Turning Centres, you'll manufacture complex aerospace components while developing your skills through ongoing training and support from an experienced engineering team.

You'll have the opportunity to work with specialist materials including Titanium, Inconel and Nickel alloys, producing safety-critical components to exceptionally high standards. As your experience grows, you'll be encouraged to develop your technical expertise, take on increasingly complex work and progress your career.
