Job summary

WF Tech in Tamworth is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join the precision machining team on a permanent days-based basis. The role focuses on programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines to manufacture one-off parts and small batches with tight tolerances.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Overtime is available at various multipliers. The successful candidate will contribute to quality and efficiency in a busy shop environment.

Location: Tamworth

Salary: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm

The Company

Our client is a well-established precision engineering company based in Tamworth, supplying high-quality precision components to a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their skilled machining team.

The Role

This is a permanent days-based position working on a variety of precision components. The successful candidate will be machining predominantly small batch work, ranging from one-off proto@types through to batches of around 10-off, requiring a high level of attention to detail and quality.

• Programming, Setting and operating CNC Turning machines.
• Working with Fanuc controls.
• Producing precision components from engineering drawings.
• Manufacturing one-off and small batch components.
• Working to tight tolerances of up to 0.001mm.
