Job summary

Holt Engineering Ltd in Poole is seeking an experienced CNC Turner Setter to join a Poole-based manufacturer supplying precision parts to aerospace and defence sectors. You will set and operate CNC lathes, work with Fanuc controls, use multi-axis lathes with live tooling, read drawings and inspect your work to meet exacting specs.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Turner or CNC Mill/Turner.
• Proficient with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

That approach has worked wonders, and with the order book growing fast, they’re now after an experienced CNC Turner Setter to join the team.

What you’ll be doing as a CNC Turner:

• Setting and operating CNC lathes
• Working with Fanuc controls
• Using multi-axis lathes with live/driven tooling
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Inspecting your own work to make sure it meets spec
• Producing components to aerospace, defenceor similar high standards

What you’ll need:

• Solid experience as a CNC Turner or CNC Mill/Turner
• Confident setting and operating modern CNC lathes
• A good eye for detail and pride in your work
• The ability to work independently and as part of a small, skilled team
