Job summary

Kinetic plc, a precision engineering company in the East Manchester/Tameside area, is seeking a skilled CNC Turner for a permanent role. The candidate will program, set and operate CNC turning machines, manufacturing components to tight tolerances from engineering drawings.

Experience with FANUC controls is preferred. A apprenticeship or HND qualification and the ability to work day shifts are required; overtime is paid at time and a half.

Qualifications

• Experienced CNC programmer (ideally FANUC), setter and operator.
• Experience operating twin turret multi-axis or sliding head machines is advantageous.
• Qualified through apprenticeship or HND.
• Able to manufacture precision components from fully understanding engineering drawings including tolerances and surface finish.

Job description

Our client, a precision engineering company based in the East Manchester/Tameside area, are looking for a CNC Turner on permanent basis. All hours on DAYS and paying minimum £20/hr PAYE + OT at T1/2. We have dealt with this client for over 15 years as they continue to grow and enter new markets. They are expanding again and now looking to expand their machining division.

REQUIREMENTS
