Moughton Engineering Ltd in Great Yarmouth is seeking competent, skilled CNC machinists with turning experience and Mazatrol knowledge to program and operate our equipment in a modern shop.

You will read drawings, set tools, meet deadlines, and use inspection gauges. We offer a 38-hour week, early finish on Friday, £20.69 per hour plus overtime, 23 days holiday, birthday leave, wellbeing day, contributory pension, life insurance and occupational health screening.

Formación

• Competent CNC machinists with turning experience and Mazatrol programming knowledge.
• Ability to operate turning equipment to tight tolerances.
• Reliable, driven with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, working to tight tolerances.
• Set tools and choose cutting speeds/feeds.
• Use verniers, bore gauges and micrometers for inspection.
• Carry out deburring during production to keep flow uninterrupted.

Competent, Skilled CNC Machinists – Turners with experience programming and operating equipment, preferably in Mazatrol

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, working to tight tolerances.
• Meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Set tools, including selecting appropriate cutting speeds and feeds.
• Use measurement/inspection equipment such as verniers, bore gauges, and micrometers.
• Carry out deburring of machined components during production cycles, ensuring minimal disruption to production while remaining quick and methodical.
