Job summary

Proslipsi Recruitment Specialist is seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join our precision engineering team. The role involves setting and operating CNC grinding machines to produce high‑quality components in line with engineering drawings and customer specs.

You will work with a range of grinders, ensuring tight tolerances, correct tooling, and fastidious quality control. Overtime is available and on-site parking is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Grinder in a precision engineering environment.
• Ability to edit and operate machines independently. NO PROGRAMMING
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of machining principles, cutting tools, and materials.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards.
• Apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC grinders to manufacture components per drawings.
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure consistent product quality.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and work-holding equipment.
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
• Work on various machines with appropriate training and support.

CNC Grinder

We are seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join our precision engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating CNC Grinder to manufacture high-quality components in accordance with engineering drawings and customer specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Skills Required

• Edit operate CNC grinding machines, manual skills will be considered also
• Manufacture precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work-holding equipment.
• Basic understanding of cylindrical or surface grinding
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure consistent product quality.
• Adjust machine offsets and tooling to optimise performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
• Confidence to work on various machines with appropriate training and support
