Job summary

Proslipsi Recruitment Specialist is seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join our precision engineering team. You will set up and operate CNC grinders, reading engineering drawings and ensuring components meet tight tolerances.

You will use appropriate tooling, fixtures, and offsets to optimise performance, troubleshoot machining issues, and maintain high standards of quality and productivity. Training and career development are provided, with overtime and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Grinder within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to edit and operate machines independently. NO PROGRAMMING
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of machining principles, cutting tools, and materials.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards.
• Apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

CNC Grinder

We are seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join our precision engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating CNC Grinder to manufacture high-quality components in accordance with engineering drawings and customer specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Skills Required

• Edit operate CNC grinding machines, manual skills will be considered also
• Manufacture precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work-holding equipment.
• Basic understanding of cylindrical or surface grinding
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure consistent product quality.
• Adjust machine offsets and tooling to optimise performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
• Confidence to work on various machines with appropriate training and support
