Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a CNC Setter/Operator with experience on sliding head and fixed head lathes for an aerospace components manufacturer in Luton, Bedfordshire.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:30, with a Friday half-day (07:00-12:00). You will set and run CNC machines, perform basic quality checks and participate in training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC machines.
• Experience with sliding head and fixed head lathes is preferred.
• Able to commute to Luton and work in an aerospace engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and run CNC sliding head lathes.
• Operate CNC machines and perform basic quality inspections.
• Work Monday to Friday with half-day Friday.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and training opportunity.

In this role you will help to set and run a range of sliding head and fixed head lathe CNC machines, whilst undertaking occasional quality inspections. The role is Monday to Friday with a half day on Fridays.
