Job summary

Team Jobs - Engineering in Poole is seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to join a well‑established precision engineering team. You will set up and run Doosan Lynx and Puma CNC lathes, reading engineering drawings and applying Fanuc offsets and tooling changes.

You should have strong turning experience, good setting/operating skills, and familiarity with Fanuc controls; programming is a bonus. Enjoy long‑term employment with company benefits and a friendly, committed team.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes in a precision environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and apply tolerances.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls, offsets and tooling changes.
• Ability to perform program edits where required, not essential.
• Work to ISO 9001 standards with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Setting & operating Doosan Lynx and Puma CNC lathes from drawings.
• Apply Fanuc offsets, manage tooling and make edits as needed.
• Perform tool changes and self-inspection on finished work.
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure compliance with standards.

Poole | £14.50-£17ph | Permanent

CNC Setter/Operator - The Role:

• Setting & operating Doosan Lynx & Puma CNC lathes
• Working from engineering drawings
• Fanuc controls - offsets, tooling & program edits
• Tool changes and self-inspection
• Working to tight tolerances and ISO 9001 standards

CNC Setter/Operator - We're Looking For:

• CNC turning experience
• Strong setting & operating skills
• Fanuc experience
• Programming experience is a bonus, not essential
