Job summary

Resource Recruitment is recruiting for a CNC Programmer / Setter with proven experience in CNC machining for a renowned aerospace manufacturer in Fareham, Hampshire. This permanent role involves working in a machine shop focused on CNC turning with sliding head multi-axis lathes and related operations.

Applicants should have prior CNC programming, setting and operating experience, plus a background in high precision environments. Sliding head experience would be highly desirable and beneficial.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in CNC Machining.
• Experience of programming, setting and operating multi-axis CNC lathes.
• Experience in high precision environments.
• Sliding head experience would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC sliding head multi-axis lathes.
• Undertaking other machining as required such as manual turning, milling and grinding.
• Deburring of machined parts.

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer / Setter for a renowned and well-established Aerospace manufacturer on a permanent basis. Founded over 100 years ago, the company have developed & grown every year to where they are now known for the design & manufacture of aerospace components and parts.

Responsibilities

As a CNC Programmer / Setter you will be working within a machine shop team focused on CNC turning operations. The site operates a range of CNC automatic lathes, particularly sliding head machines;

• Programming, setting and operating CNC sliding head multi-axis lathes
• Undertaking other machining as required such as manual turning, milling and grinding
• Deburring of machined parts

Qualifications

For the CNC Programmer / Setter role, the successful candidate will possess;

• Previous experience in CNC Machining
• Experience of programming, setting and operating multi-axis CNC lathes
• Experience in high precision environments
• Sliding head experience would be highly desirable
