Employee Finder Ltd has a vacancy for a CNC Setter Programmer (Sliding Head Turning) in Fareham. The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, days only, and offers a competitive salary of £34,275 to £36,331.

You will program, set and operate multi-axis CNC sliding head lathes, with some manual turning, milling and grinding. A strong engineering background in a high-precision environment is essential; sliding head experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Our client is a precision aerospace manufacturer in Fareham. The long serving setter is retiring next year, so this is a genuine replacement, not a new heads number.

You will program, set and operate multi axis CNC sliding head lathes. There is some manual turning, milling and grinding, plus deburring and general housekeeping. You need an engineering background and a high precision environment behind you. Sliding head experience is highly desirable, but a strong multi axis CNC turner who wants to learn it will be looked at.
