Futura Design Limited in Willenhall is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. The role involves programming, setting and operating a range of CNC machines, primarily 5-axis, to produce components to tight tolerances.

You will work with Hypermill (preferred) or Powermill CAM software, interpret engineer drawings, maintain tooling and ensure high quality finishes, while following health and safety policies.

Qualificações

• Proven CNC programming and operating experience (5-axis preferred).
• Hypermill CAM experience highly desirable, Powermill also considered.
• Strong knowledge of Fanum, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, or equivalent controllers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality focus.

Our client is seeking for an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to join their precision manufacturing company, based in Willenhall. This is a permanent opportunity offering good pay, overtime, and holiday entitlement. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating a range of CNC machinery to deliver high-quality components to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set, and operate CNC machines (primarily 5-axis) using Hypermill (preferred) or Powermill CAM software.
• Work across a variety of CNC machinery, including:

• • 3 x 5-axis Matsuura machines (Fanum controllers).
  • 3 x Mazak machines (Mazatrol controllers).
  • 2 x 3-axis Bridgeport machines (Heidednhain controllers).
  • 1 x CMS machine (proprietary controller).

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce accurate, high-quality components.
• Ensure efficient machining processes, maintaining tight tolerances and surface finishes.
• Carry out machine maintenance, tool setting, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to health and safety policies at all times.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven CNC programming and operating experience (5-axis preferred).
• Hypermill CAM experience highly desirable, although Powermill will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of Fanum, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, or equivalent controllers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, skilled team.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality focus.

Additional Information:

• 37 hours per week:

• • Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:00.
  • Friday, 07:30 - 12:30.

• Pay: Subject to experience of candidate.
• Overtime: Available on Saturday's which is time and a half.
• Holidays: 33 days including Bank Holidays.
