Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / Setter for a permanent on-site role in Wednesbury. You will program, set and operate CNC machinery, proving out new programs and optimising processes to enhance efficiency.

The position supports a dedicated production team in a stable manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' CNC programming experience, with CNC Milling and/or Turning expertise and a solid understanding of engineering drawings

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' CNC programming experience.
• Experience in CNC Milling and/or CNC Turning (Lathe).
• Strong machining and manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC machinery.
• Prove out new programs and make adjustments where required.
• Optimise machining processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Work with FANUC, HURCO or similar CNC control systems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure components meet required standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to achieve production targets.

CNC Programmer Location: Wednesbury Salary: £18.00 - £22.00 per hour (DOE) Job Type: Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm | Friday: 7:00am - 12:00pm
