Job summary

Roc Search Europe Limited is recruiting an experienced CNC Programmer to join a specialist machine shop in Banbury, Oxfordshire. You will create and optimise CNC programmes using Hypermill for 3-axis, 3+2 and 5-axis machining, producing tooling, set-up and manufacturing documentation, and supporting prototype and small-batch production.

The role requires hands-on CNC programming with 3+ years of Hypermill CAD/CAM, strong 5-axis experience, and solid GD&T knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' Hypermill CAD/CAM programming experience.
• Strong 5-axis Hypermill programming experience - essential.
• Genuine hands-on CNC programming experience.
• Experience with complex, high-precision machining.
• Background in small-batch/prototype manufacturing.
• Experience with 3-axis, 3+2 and 5-axis machining.
• Strong engineering drawing and GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimise CNC programmes using Hypermill.
• Programme complex components across 3-axis, 3+2 and 5-axis machining.
• Produce tooling, set-up and manufacturing documentation.
• Support prototype and small-batch production.
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues.
• Support production planning, scheduling and pricing.

We're recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer / Production Engineer to join a specialist Machine Shop working on complex, high-precision components across small-batch, prototype and one‑off manufacturing.

The Role

• Create and optimise CNC programmes using Hypermill.
• Programme complex components across 3-axis, 3+2 and 5-axis machining.
