Futura Design in Willenhall is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. The role covers programming, setting and operating a range of CNC machines, primarily 5-axis, to deliver components to tight tolerances.

You will work across Matsuura, Mazak, Bridgeport and CMS machines, interpreting drawings and specifications, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting machine maintenance and tool setting as required.

Qualificações

• Proven CNC programming and operating experience (5-axis preferred).
• Hypermill CAM experience highly desirable, although Powermill will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of Fanum, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, or equivalent controllers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, skilled team.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality focus.

Responsabilidades

• Program, set, and operate CNC machines (primarily 5-axis) to exacting tolerances.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce accurate, high-quality components.
• Maintain housekeeping and adhere to health and safety policies at all times.
• Carry out machine maintenance, tool setting, and troubleshooting as required.
• Work across multiple CNC machines including Matsuura, Mazak, Bridgeport, and CMS.

Our client is seeking for an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to join their precision manufacturing company, based in Willenhall. This is a permanent opportunity offering good pay, overtime, and holiday entitlement. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating a range of CNC machinery to deliver high-quality components to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set, and operate CNC machines (primarily 5-axis) using Hypermill (preferred) or Powermill CAM software.
• Work across a variety of CNC machinery, including:
• 3 x 5-axis Matsuura machines (Fanum controllers).
• 3 x Mazak machines (Mazatrol controllers).
• 2 x 3-axis Bridgeport machines (Heidednhain controllers).
• 1 x CMS machine (proprietary controller).
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce accurate, high-quality components.
• Ensure efficient machining processes, maintaining tight tolerances and surface finishes.
• Carry out machine maintenance, tool setting, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to health and safety policies at all times.

Additional Information:

• 37 hours per week:
• Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:00.
• Friday, 07:30 - 12:30.
• Pay: Subject to experience of candidate.
• Overtime: Available on Saturday's which is time and a half.
• Holidays: 33 days including Bank Holidays
