Job summary

Pertemps Stoke on Trent is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operative for a full-time dayshift in Stoke-on-Trent. You will set up and operate CNC press brake machines, producing sheet metal components to tight specifications, with preferred experience on Amada or Trumpf equipment and reading engineering drawings.

You will join a busy manufacturing team, performing first-off checks, quality control, and maintaining safe working practices.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC press brake machines.
• Experience with Amada or Trumpf machinery preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machinery.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and works orders.
• Select tooling and set machines to required specifications.
• Produce components to customer specifications with quality checks.
• Carry out first-off inspections and in-process checks.
• Measure and inspect finished products with gauges.
