Job summary

JRS Associates has partnered with a growing business in Pinxton to recruit a skilled Press Brake Operator on a full-time, permanent basis. The role offers 37.5 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate and a modern working environment.

Duties include setting and operating CNC press brakes (Trumpf TruBend 7036 / Truma Press V85), reading drawings, and maintaining tight tolerances. Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience, read technical drawings, and be familiar with Vernier and

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience operating CNC press brakes.
• Confident reading and working to technical drawings.
• Familiar with measurement tools such as Verniers and Micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC press brakes – Trumpf TruBend 7036 / Truma Press V85.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and bend instructions.
• Working to tight tolerances (typically ±0.25mm).
• Performing in-process inspection and adjusting programs if needed.
• Keeping production areas clean and well-organised.
• Communicating with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintaining a high standard of quality and safety throughout.

The Succesful Press Brake Operator - Package:

• Pay: £16.00 to £17.00 per hour
• Hours: 37.5 per week
  • Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30
  • Friday: 08:00–13:30

• Setting and operating CNC press brakes – Trumpf TruBend 7036 / Truma Press V85

The Ideal Press Brake Operator - Candidate:

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience operating CNC press brakes (Trumpf or Amada experience desirable)
• Confident reading and working to technical drawings
• Familiar with measurement tools such as Verniers and Micrometers
• Able to work independently and hit quality targets with minimal supervision
