Job summary

Abtech Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled CNC Operator & Assembly Operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will machine and assemble high-quality components for electrical connection and lighting products, ensuring production requirements and deadlines are met.

You will set up and operate CNC mills, automated punch machines, pillar drills and other equipment, monitor quality, minimise waste and help improve cycle times.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating CNC machinery.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Manual handling experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes.
• GCSEs or equivalent minimum.

Responsibilities

• Machine and assemble high-quality components from drawings.
• Set up and operate CNC mills, punch machines, and drills.
• Monitor quality, minimise waste and improve cycle times.
• Assemble and sub-assemble products per works orders and spec sheets.
• Train new employees and agency staff.
