Abatec Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Team Leader for a busy manufacturing team in North Somerset. You will oversee CNC machining, extrusion and assembly operations, guiding operators and ensuring production targets are met.

The role requires strong technical awareness, ability to read engineering drawings, and a proactive approach to quality and safety. You will thrive in a hands-on leadership environment within a well-established manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/engineering environments with CNC or machining exposure.
• Previous Team Leader or Supervisor role with workload allocation and training.
• Strong reading of engineering drawings and quality inspection fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production operators to meet targets.
• Allocate workloads and monitor daily outputs on the shop floor.
• Promote 5S/continuous improvement and maintain health & safety standards.
