Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a CNC Miller - Setter/Operator for a permanent, full-time role in Hertford, UK. The successful candidate will operate CNC milling machinery to produce tooling and precision components, read technical drawings and set tools, fixtures and offsets, and conduct first-off and in-process inspections.

Desirable experience includes Haas or Fanuc controls and basic program editing. The salary is dependant on experience and this is a permanent position with opportunities to

Qualifications

• 2+ years proven CNC milling setting/operating experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Confident using measurement equipment and inspecting own work

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines based on drawings and specifications
• Setting tools, fixtures, and work offsets; proving out jobs
• Carrying out first-off and in-process inspection with verniers, micrometers, gauges
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, housekeeping and documentation
• Supporting continuous improvement to reduce scrap and rework
